The performance of polyethylene depends on its aggregation. Characteristics of Polyethylene
Polyethlen odorless, non-toxic, feel like wax, has excellent low temperature properities(lowest temperature up to -70 -- -100℃)，good chemical stability, resistance to most acid-base erosion(intolerance with oxidation properties acid), at room temperature, not soluble in common solvents, water absorption, excellent eletrical insulation properities; but polyethylene for environmental stress(chemical and mechanical action)is very sensitive, poor heat aging.
